For frontier labs and applied-AI teams

I turn frontier ideas into working products with Claude Code, and I want to do it inside your team.

Since August 2025: 23,506 commits, 68% co-authored by Claude. With Stan James I built Vibeconferencing, which brings Claude into a Google Meet call as a working participant. /vibe and AIRC were early working versions of people and agents messaging each other.

For labs

What I'd do for you.

  • Prototype and demo new product ideas on Claude, with a working build at the end of each week.

About 80 custom skills, 26 subagents, 10 hooks and 3 published MCP servers, and a fleet of scheduled agents that runs every day. Vibeconferencing, with Stan James.

“If you aren’t embarrassed by what you release, you have waited too long.”

  • Show creative and cultural audiences what Claude can do, with work they take seriously.

SOLIENNE at Fotografiska and Paris Photo; Bright Moments, live events in ten cities.

  • Work with startups building on your platform, as a founder who has been in their seat.

    Six companies since 1995.

Roles: demo engineering, applied AI for startups, developer education.

How I workOne person, a coordinator, and a fleet of agents.

How I work

One person, a coordinator, and a fleet of agents.

Observe runs on its own Propose a draft and a log entry a person signs Act money, messages to people, publishing
  1. Build and review

Claude Code builds; a second model reviews.

One model writes the code, another reviews it, and I decide what ships.

  2. Approval tiers

    Observe, propose, act.

Observing runs on its own. Proposing leaves a draft and a log entry. Acting on money, messages to people or publishing waits for a person to sign.

  3. Records

    Append, never rewrite.

Derived facts go into separate append-only tables. The raw record stays as it was, so you can trace any claim back.

Vibeconferencing, with Stan James: Claude joins your Google Meet and does the work.

During the call it listens, talks and draws on a shared whiteboard. It runs on your Mac with your own Claude Code subscription; nothing runs on our servers. Stan James, lead engineer, wrote most of the app and the engine. I shape the product and built the site and the bot characters.

Timeline, 2024 to 2026

Agents and people talking together, early.

I didn't invent agents talking to each other; Google, OpenAI and Microsoft shipped big pieces first. What I had early was working code, built inside Claude Code.

Proof of Corn, 2026

Proof of Corn: an idea that reached #1 on Hacker News.

Fred Wilson set the challenge; I wrote it up and built it in public with Claude Code. The idea alone was the #1 story on Hacker News on January 23, 2026. The agent made the decisions, within spending limits; the farmer carried them out. The project is paused.

Ideas

Further out.

  • Spirit Land. A planned solar-powered home for AI agents, artists and a working farm in the Arizona high desert.
  • Magic Mirror. A mirror with a camera, designed so it cannot watch you without your say. Provisional patent filed.
  • TRASH. A clothing-resale idea: every secondhand garment carries a tag with its story, and the person who gave it shares in the resale.
  • Compounding agents. How a fleet of agents improves over time: shared memory and a review routine, practiced daily.

Bright Moments: live generative-art events in ten cities.

Before companies I worked in media art, with Robert Wilson and William Forsythe, and at ZKM. I founded Bright Moments in 2021 to make the release of a digital artwork something you went to. Collectors came at a set time, the artist was there, and each work was generated and revealed in front of them. Ten cities, about 150 artists, 2021 to 2024. In 2023 one evening included a talking AI booth with an audience watching.
